Chiltern Learning Trust wrote the DfE Guidance on the safe and effective use of AI in Education
The Department for Education commissioned the creation of training materials on the safe and effective use of AI in education, developed by Chiltern Learning Trust in partnership with the Chartered College of Teaching. These materials are designed to help teachers and school leaders understand how AI works, the opportunities it offers, and the risks that must be managed. They provide practical guidance on using AI responsibly to support teaching, reduce workload, and enhance learning, while ensuring that safeguarding, data protection, intellectual property, and inclusion remain at the forefront of practice.
